In Ellington:

$1 from every Donation Creation drink purchase at LuAnn's Ellington Cafe or Drive Thru in January will be donated to the Ellington Community Scholar Association.

Founded in 1959 by a group of Ellington residents, ECSA is deeply committed to raising, investing and distributing scholarship funds for students residing in Ellington and graduating from publicly funded secondary schools. The association annually awards thousands of dollars of scholarship money to graduating seniors. Donations to the association’s general fund and to specific endowments provide the money for these awards.

In Stafford:

$1 from every Donation Creation drink purchase at LuAnn's Stafford Cafe in January will be donated to the Citizens Scholarship Foundation of Stafford Springs.

The Citizens Scholarship Foundation of Stafford Springs was founded in 1962 by a group of concerned citizens for the purpose of awarding scholarships to assist students from Stafford & Union seeking education beyond the secondary level. They are the first chapter of the national organization Dollars for Scholars to be created in Connecticut.  Since our inception, they have awarded $2.615 million to 1,778 students and look forward to many more years of helping students achieve their educational goals.
